What is a NEXUS Membership?

NEXUS is a curated membership community consisting of young people (aged 18-45) from ultra-high-net-worth families and/or young social entrepreneurs with well-developed, impactful, and scalable ideas who attended a multi-day NEXUS event or summit. To become a NEXUS member, individuals need to apply for and be accepted to attend the biannual NEXUS Australia summit events. Once you are accepted to attend a summit, you remain a member after that summit event. 

NEXUS Australia aims to maintain a ratio of 50% wealth holders, 30% social entrepreneurs/social influencers, 15% Corporate funders/investors in social change and philanthropic advisors and 5% Young leaders in public service ‘Role models / Influencers’.

Members enjoy unique privileges including access to our closed NEXUS Australia Facebook group page, invites to exclusive NEXUS member salons and events. Additional perks and privileges are shared through our NEXUS e-updates.

NEXUS invites non-members to be part of the NEXUS community by signing up to the NEXUS Australia mailing list. NEXUS hosts community member events and Salons throughout the year.

Why young people?

An investment in young people is an investment in the future. We help young people conceptualise the meaning of "good citizenship" and how they, consequently, engage in society as business leaders, donors, social entrepreneurs, activists, and participants in the electoral process. We believe that by influencing young people we influence the next generation of leaders and therefore eventually influence all of society.

Why ultra-high-net-worth families?

We believe money and influence are tools that can be used for good, and we want to help the next generation members of ultra-high-net-worth families, and emerging generation of ultra-high-net-worth young people to understand their unique potential to use these tools to make a positive impact in the world.
